About Our Youth
Mr. Robbie Arevalos
Director of Youth Ministries
This past year has once again been filled with many opportunities to learn, grow, share and serve. We have an awesome youth group that when we combine both junior and senior high numbers around twenty! Our older youth and young adults continue to attend Sunday School each Sunday, especially when there are bagels to be shared! Susan Richardson has been helping me with Sunday School and youth group weekly! I don’t know what I would do without her!

We are also blessed to have so many talented youth in our church. We have dancers, singers, actors, athletes and many more. The only problem is many of these activities conflict with planned church events, so I’ve had to cancel or re-schedule numerous events during the year. I do my best to plan events around everyone’s schedule, but you can’t please everyone.
Some of the conference events we participated in include Ruby’s Dinners, Junior High Jamboree, Feb. Camp, Spring Fling, Founders Day and Summer Camp at Pilgrim Pines and Loch Leven. We also held a dinner dance to raise money for Loch Leven. The first Sunday of each month we used to participate in “First Sunday” events but other churches have decided not to join us. I will try again next year! We also do “normal” youth group outings that include lock-ins, bowling, bonfires, game night, movie night and so much more! One of my favorite events of the year is Youth Sunday in which the youth lead the service. Be sure to add this to your “must see” list for 2009!!
Peace and Blessings,
